The Fiscal Unit is responsible for tracking revenue, processing payables and monitoring of all HHSA budget units. Monitoring also includes department contacts, grants, and grant recipients. Claims against State and Federal program allocations for cost reimbursement are also completed by this unit.
The Fiscal Unit is responsible for tracking and reporting a wide variety of statistical information. These statistics are monetary as well as persons’ counts, case counts, time studies and much more. Statistics are reported monthly, quarterly and annually as required by program regulations. The Fiscal Unit also plays a role in the distribution of CalFresh, CalWORKs and General Assistance benefits.
