Mission and Vision of CAB Mission: The Community Action Board (CAB) will assist our vulnerable populations with resources to obtain skills, knowledge and opportunities toward self-sufficiency. -
Vision: Ending Poverty by Empowering People
Services Provided
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) – PG&E/Propane/Wood
- Dream Catcher – Scholarship Assistance for Youth Enrichment Programs, i.e., sports, arts, music, dance, etc.
- Family Winter Shelter (Family with children 17 and under) – Shelter for Families from December – March
- H.O.M.E. Resource Center (Adults Only) – Shelter for Individuals. Year Round, 1161 San Felipe Road
- Helping Hands – Assistance for homeless with disabilities
- Rental Assistance – There is a Waiting List
- Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) – FREE Tax Prep
- Referrals and Partner
